Ocean Earth Surfboard Travel Bags

ocean-earth Ocean Earth is a company based in Australia, with many years of experience when it comes to travel surfboard bags. The millions of miles that travelers have made with their Ocean Earth surfboards tested their products, and that experience was put in better models, which you can buy and use even if the conditions are harsh.

Wherever you go, whether it’s Kuala Lampur, San Salvador or Cape May, your surfboard will be safe if you use an Ocean Earth travel surfboard bag.

All their surfboard bags are made a bit oversized, so you can put a 9’6” surfboard in a 9’6” travel bag. If you have a surfboard bigger than this, choose a bag that is larger.

Even though boards can come in many different shapes, travel bags are usually made for boards that are average. Since boards vary quite a bit in size, the right fit is not a guarantee. If you have a board that has a very full nose, or it’s very thick or wide, use a string or soft tape to measure the widest point of your surfboard and then the point which is one foot from the tail or the nose. Calling the company will allow you to get a bag that fits the board perfectly.

Using a single board bag will allow you to carry only one surfboard in it, either without or with fins. When using a bag which can carry multiple boards, you usually need to take the fins out, if you want the bag to hold the maximum number of surfboards.

Using these types of bags will allow for maximum versatility and protection. Some of the features of these bags include thick walls for extra rail protection, zippers that are heavy duty, a wax bag, a PCV plate for the bottom and a storage hook which is removable.
